Welcome
Meet the headteacher and take a look around Grazeley Primary School
Welcome to Grazeley Church of England Primary School
On behalf of the children, staff, and governors, I warmly welcome you to Grazeley Church of England Primary School. We are a kind and happy school where strong, caring relationships between pupils, staff, parents, and governors create a nurturing and supportive environment for all.
We know that choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and I am confident that Grazeley offers a safe, welcoming environment where staff find the best in every child, giving them the opportunity to grow and succeed. With our Christian ethos at the heart of everything we do, we strive to provide the best possible education in an environment where each child can grow and flourish through our values of love, hope, peace, and courage.
Our recent Ofsted report starts by stating, “the school fulfils its vision to be a ‘loving community of courageous learners, building resilience and hope for the future”. It goes on to say “these aspirations are promoted through a caring ethos where staff and pupils find the best in every pupil” (Ofsted June 25) and we couldn’t agree more.
Personal development at Grazeley is extremely important. We provide opportunities to help our children develop resilience and awareness of modern society. We teach children to be ‘courageous advocates’ as citizens who make a difference to others through charitable work and positive action. We are proud that our children leave us well prepared for the next stage of their education and for life in modern Britain.
Our team of highly skilled teaching and support staff are energetic and dedicated to personalising the learning for all children and “expectations for learning and behaviour are high, and pupils proudly meet them.” (Ofsted June 25). Our children love to learn and our curriculum is carefully structured to fascinate and challenge them.
From 1st September 2025, we have become part of The Keys Academy Trust (TKAT) which is a family of distinctive schools at the heart of the diverse communities we serve who are committed to unlocking the potential in every child. In line with our Christian ethos, schools in The Keys Academy Trust aspire to excellent learning and pastoral care for pupils and staff and are committed to being open and welcoming to all partnership schools. Collectively, we provide the very best educational experiences for our pupils and staff so that our family of academies are recognised as centres of academic and pastoral excellence at the heart of the communities they serve. We are looking forward to working with all TKAT schools in the future.
I hope you find our website to be a useful resource. If you need further information or have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Being part of a loving community is the foundation of everything we do and we would be delighted if you choose to become part of that community. I would be very happy to welcome you to visit our school – the children and I would love the opportunity to show you around. I look forward to working with you and your child, and to being part of your child’s exciting educational journey at Grazeley.
Warmest regards,
Mrs Jane Critchlow
