Welcome
Meet the headteacher and take a look around Grazeley Primary School
Welcome to Grazeley Parochial Primary School
Grazeley Parochial Primary School is a very popular, one form entry, Primary School whose history dates back to the 1860s. The original buildings have been extended and updated over the years to provide a modern learning environment whilst maintaining some delightful original Victorian features.
We benefit from being a small Church of England school. This means that our school is built on Christian values and we place the children’s learning and welfare at the centre of all that we do. We do, of course, welcome all pupils, parents, staff and visitors from any, or no, religious background.
There is a close partnership between all involved with the school which ensures that we work hard to provide a happy and safe learning environment where all can achieve their full potential.
Our aim, through our strong vision, is to ensure that we are a loving community of courageous learners, building resilience and hope for the future based on our caring Christian foundation. Our core values of love, peace, hope and courage are reinforced throughout children’s experiences at our school. When the time comes for our pupils to leave, they do so with the skills they need to be happy, healthy and successful learners open to future experiences.
It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of Grazeley Parochial Primary School. The school is made up of a talented team of teachers and support staff who make our vision and values a reality on a daily basis. They provide excellent learning opportunities through a rich, varied and challenging curriculum which enables all children to achieve their full potential.
We hope that, through our website, you will be encouraged to come and see for yourself what a special place our school is. We run regular Open Morning events which consist of a presentation from me then a tour from the children into each of the classes so you really get a feel for what it is like to be a child in our school. If you would like to visit, please contact the school office.
We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you and your child into our caring school community.
Mrs Jane Critchlow, Headteacher
